Culture Mindset
Our community is all about immersive storytelling and deep roleplay, steering clear of being primarily a fast-paced action community. We prioritize rich narratives and character development, valuing collaborative storytelling over quick victories. Every encounter, whether it's a gunfight or chase, adds to our evolving plots and character arcs. We foster an atmosphere of mutual respect and creativity, aiming to create a space where both setbacks and triumphs contribute to a collective, engaging storytelling experience.
Note: Staff will evaluate rule violations and corresponding punishments based on the impact and damage caused by the infraction. If a situation contributes positively to the RP experience for all involved parties, the staff will likely not intervene.
Job Limits (Crim / LEO) [Up to 10 Warning Points]
The limit for any heists or known "Jobs" is 5 players at all times (this includes lookouts).
Law Enforcement is limited to 6 (Air 1 does not count towards the LEO count unless directly involved by dropping officers off and moving them around or by any other means of direct involvement which goes beyond visual and communications)
- You are not allowed to resupply during a heist once the police have arrived.
- You are not allowed to interfere with other parties' heists once they have started.
Conflict Limits: (Civ / Crim) [Up to 10 Warning Points]
Conflict limits are 5v5. Groups can agree to waive this by opening a ticket and having a staff member add a representative from the other group to document and log the agreement.
- If attacked on your property or turf, if you have more than 5 people on your property, your group can defend yourselves but you may not allow people who were not there at the time of the start of the attack to engage if they arrive afterwards.
- You may not lead a conflict to your turf to go over the numbers limit.
- Groups (Gangs/Families/Orgs) are limited to 12 people total including hangouts on their roster in order to allow a diverse environment and not be saturated by one group as the community is still growing.
LQRP / LERP (Low Quality/ Low Effort) [Up to 15 Warning Points]
Server Restarts:
All major crimes such as heists, robberies, store robberies etc. should not be conducted 30 minutes before or 30 minutes after a server restart. This is to allow Law Enforcement characters a chance to engage in meaningful roleplay and not be cut short, and give them time to log on and get prepared with needed equipment and vehicles, respectively.
Pocket Wiping
Robbing someone for everything they have is not permitted. There must be a proper RP reason behind what you take. This means only items that are relevant to the current roleplay scenario should be taken. Items such as food, drinks, and other unnecessary belongings should not be taken unless they directly contribute to the roleplay.
Medical RP
Medical RP should be as realistic as the game mechanics will allow. If your character is injured, such as being stabbed in the stomach, you are not getting up and running immediately. You must roleplay out your injuries in a manner that reflects the severity of the situation.
Taking Hostages at Businesses
While this is permitted, players should exhaust all other avenues to secure a hostage first. Going to a business to take a worker should be a last resort. If all avenues have been exhausted and players must resort to using business employees as hostages, they should avoid taking employees who are actively helping customers. This ensures that the roleplay remains realistic and respectful to the ongoing activities within the business
Taking EMS / PD / DOJ Hostage
Taking EMS, PD, or DOJ personnel as hostages is permitted, but use your discretion. If EMS is actively helping someone, do not take them as a hostage. The same applies to PD officers who are on an active call. The goal is to maintain a realistic and respectful roleplay environment, ensuring that the actions taken contribute meaningfully to the scenario and don't disrupt essential services.
Cop Baiting
Cop baiting is not permitted. This includes deliberately engaging in actions designed to provoke or attract law enforcement officers for the sole purpose of creating a confrontation. Actions such as reckless driving, intentionally committing crimes in front of officers, or taunting law enforcement are considered cop baiting.
Abruptly Ending RP Scenes Due to Frustration / Undesired Outcome
It is strictly prohibited to abruptly end or disrupt a roleplay scene out of frustration or because the outcome is not as desired. This behavior undermines the roleplay experience and negatively impacts other players.
Powergaming / FailRP [Up to 15 Warning Points]
Utilizing any means not available through in game means to gain an advantage, or utilizing available mechanics in a way that is not realistic or doesn't make sense*
- Talking/Organizing/Or assisting others while downed
- Escorting people when the vehicle doesn't have enough seats
- Dropping items while downed
- Returning to an ongoing scene after being downed and revived
- Holding teleports (House entries, elevators, anything that requires a brief black screen)
- Transferring items or funds from a perma'd character to another character without the use of proper roleplay channels.
- Losing the cops in a chase and immediately after parking your car in a garage. After losing a police chase, players must continue to use their vehicle as their main mode of transportation for at least 10 minutes before parking it in a garage. This rule ensures that vehicles are not immediately parked as a means of avoiding police detection and promotes realistic roleplay by requiring sustained use of the vehicle.
Ocean Dumping
Ocean Dumping is not permitted at any time due to the fact of how hard it is to recover bodies from the water and can be interpreted as intentionally making someone lose their memory which will be considered power gaming
Public Service (LEO/EMS/DOJ)
Corruption of most types are not permitted at this time. This is due to the potential of intentional or non intentional situations of powergaming that can come from this if not done well. Simple corruption such as reasonable bribes for law enforcement to turn a blind eye is permitted. Whereas, bribery for EMS to not treat a patient is NOT permitted.
New Life Rule (NLR) [Up to 15 Warning Points]
If you are downed and must respawn via game mechanic and not be helped through roleplay. You must forget the events leading up to being downed for 30 minutes. You must make a valid attempt at contacting medical help before using the respawn mechanic.
- You may NOT use the respawn mechanic if you have been informed that help of any kind is on the way.
Not Valuing Life (NVL) [Up to 20 Warning Points]
You must at all times value your life and the lives of those who make sense through roleplay (Law Enforcement must value hostages lives at all times & groups must value their members lives). If you are held at gunpoint while unarmed or at a severe disadvantage you must surrender
RDM / VDM [Up to 35 Warning Points]
No random death matching (RDM) or vehicle death matching (VDM) is permitted. This means no attacking or engaging in combat with another player or group without prior verbal RP interaction or being initiated into combat first, including using vehicles for offensive purposes or drive-byes. It's essential to provide sufficient RP and allow for counterplay before resorting to combat actions.
Using any outside information gained through third-party sources, such as Twitch chats, Discord, or any other means not obtained through in-game roleplay, is strictly prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to, sitting in a Discord call while in the game city or using information from external communications to influence in-game decisions.
Initiation [Up to 15 Warning Points]
Initiation of roleplay scenarios must be done verbally. This includes communication over the phone (call) and in-person dialogue. Initiation through Twitter or other non-verbal means does not count. Ensure that all parties involved can clearly hear and understand the initiation to prevent misunderstandings and maintain a high standard of roleplay.
Extreme Character Types
Serial killer and terroristic roleplay is permitted, however, these types of characters must be submitted to the staff team via ticket for approval to avoid oversaturation and to ensure all are conducted in a favorable manner conducive to a healthy roleplay environment. Your story must be well thought out, planned, and have an ending for the characters' storyline in mind. When conducting this type of roleplay all other rules including initiation still apply.
Torture RP
Torture RP is permitted but only with visual and/or verbal consent. This consent must be documented and able to be provided to staff if requested
Character Realism [Up to 15 Warning Points]
Verify that your character's look complies with the server's realistic and immersive requirements.
- Clothing that detracts from the server's immersive atmosphere or seems poor effort will not be accepted. This includes attire that directly alludes to the FiveM Arena game mode or other subcultures that detract from the authenticity of the server.
- Example: Clearly displaying this affinity by donning a combination of bowl-cut hair, surgical gloves, cat ears, and goggles that are frequently associated with FiveM Arena.
- Themed attire and cosplay are permitted, however characters whose presence significantly ruins the immersive experience for other people are not.
- Names must be realistic and not based of a tv star, book character, game character etc. to allign with FiveM TOS. If found with a unrealistic name, you be asked to change it.
- No underage characters are permitted. All characters created and played must be portrayed as over the age of 21, this includes any custom peds that may be underage in nature. In addition, no characters may be supernatural in nature (Ghosts, Aliens, Demigod, Vampires, etc.)
Permadeath
If your character has died, they must be deleted after any last moments such as funeral etc. has been completed, under no circumstance is that character allowed to be played again.
Business Guidelines
Any player who owns a player owned business must follow the guidelines set in place in order to ensure a fair environment. The rules arent extensive but are there to keep things positive and fun for everybody.
- Business owners if in a group, may not conduct illegal or group specific activities on business property intentionally. If RP stories lead there they may be followed through with but there must be a valid roleplay reason and may not be guided there intentionally.
- Businesses may not give free items to the public regularly. And businesses may not give discounts or free items solely to their friends or associated group. This is meant to keep a fair and flowing economy.
- Businesses that are a sole provider of a specific product or service may not blacklist individuals or groups. For example, if you happen to be the only mechanic shop in the community, you may not blacklist people from getting repairs or needed service.
- Characters affiliated with a gang may own and operate businesses within the game. However, to maintain balance and ensure fair gameplay, a single gang is limited to owning no more than two businesses at any given time. They may not be 2 of the same type (mech shop, mech shop)
Copyright Music
Please be considerate of content creators by not playing copyrighted music in public areas. This could endanger their careers, and could have a severe negative impact on their livelihood in the long term. (Certain venues like clubs may choose to do so but must make it apparent to anyone by in character means before they enter the venue)
Zero Tolerance Rules [35 Points]
Toxicity
Any form of toxicity which is deemed so by the staff team is not and will not ever be allowed within the community. People are here to have fun, enjoy your time in the community with general human decency and respect. Toxicity can and will lean to a swift permanent ban from the community.
- Outside Conduct: We will not get involved in your personal relationships, however, we will notify and remove anyone who does not align with our goals to create a healthy, safe community. This unfortunately includes if a personal matter makes a toxic situation within the community.
Suicide RP
Suicide RP is strictly prohibited. This is due to a number of circumstances, but the number one reason is compassion. You never know what the player behind the characters you have or are interacting with have gone through.
Sexual Harassment / Racism / Discrimination
Under no circumstance is any form of sexual harassment, racism, or discrimination of any type permitted. Any instance of these circumstances can and will lead to a permanent ban from the community.
Point System
As a way of managing consequences for community rule breaks and warnings we use a points based system to log rule breaks that may occur. If you unfortunately find yourself in trouble, and administrative action is taken against you, it will become permanently logged and used as the template for which consequences will come your way. All points are at the discretion of the staff while handling the issue and may be up to but not exceed the specified number of points for that specific rule break.
Any points issued to a player will be done during discussion of the rule break, and will be accounted for in the instance of a future rule break for a period of 60 days. After 60 days has passed since the rule break that warranted the points in question they will no longer be considered.
An example of this system would be if you are issued 10 points for respawning when medical is on the way then subsequently 15 days later issued 10 points for breaking character, you would then total 20 points and receive a 7 day ban, which would be appealable after 3 days.
- 10 Points - 24 Hour Ban - Non appealable
- 15 Points - 3 Day Ban - Non appealable
- 20 Points - 7 Day Ban - Appealable after 3 days.
- 25 Points - 14 Day Ban - Appealable after 7 days.
- 30 Points - 30 Day Ban - Appealable after 14 days.
- 35 Points - Permanent Ban - Appealable after 30 days.
